Oregano Seeds

About- Native to arid Mediterranean regions, Oregano is perfect for growing in drought prone areas. It is easy to care for and can be grown indoors or out in the garden. This compact, bushy herb reaches a height of 12-24" and boasts flavorful, aromatic leaves. Oregano pairs well with many other things that may already be growing in your garden!

When and Where to Plant- Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the soil. Lightly press the seeds into the soil. Transplant out to a full sun location when the danger of frost has passed.

Care and Harvest- Once established, Oregano is fairly drought tolerant. Avoid overwatering, but be sure to keep the soil evenly moist during dry spells. Begin harvesting leaves when the plants are 4-6" tall. You may clip the stems directly above a node or leaf cluster to encourage bushier growth.
